Iris shows allow growers to showcase individual bloomstalks as well as arrangements. Many shows are open to the public, both for entry and for attendance.

Each year, the club orders recently-introduced iris varieties, and club members then grow these plants in their own gardens to determine suitability for our climate. Rhizomes offered for sale are sold directly from club members' gardens and are proven growers in our climate. ETIS will only identify irises as rebloomers if they are reliable rebloomers in East Tennessee.

Members dig a broad assortment of colors and patterns, from subtle and elegant to wild and striking. It's always a good idea to come early since some varieties can sell out quickly. We look forward to seeing you at a sale!
